Conceptual basis :

I am interested in life style, change and variety of life. Those are compound of belief , culture and adapting for survival of a man in all format which I think the difference of each person doesn’t depend on race , religion , language , class even if physical deformation but depends on what we are doing and what it is done for. That means to build understanding and realizing in the way of life of each person that proceeds in the change of society, culture and environment which everything happen and decline continuously as if changing history age. Men were born and learn knowledge and reply all feeling to outside world. It can affect and relate to thoughts that exist within ourselves both fact and ideal, like development of material and spirit, as parallel. So to realize the fragility of life, to seek and try to understand society that proceed on the uncertainty capitalism age and coated with a fake beautiful moral within distort and oppose. By investigating down in one’s life leads life to equilibrium, the interesting thing is which should be the principle way that appropriate.

Artistic background :

In 2001, I became increasingly aware, through the media, of tragic news concerning Thai children and youth. The most serious problem is premature sex, which causes other social problems, such as pregnancy before marriage - with abortion as a consequence.

I believe these are the signs of moral degeneration, as well as loss of self-respect and sense of responsibility in Thai society.

I therefore decided to reflect such social problems in my work so as to bring them to the attention of the public raise their consciousness and, hopefully, generate an interest in trying to find solutions together.

In 2002, when studying for my Bachelor degree in painting at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University, in Chonburi (Thailand), I had an opportunity to work with Carol Hepper, an American artist whose concept and working process, using natural and local materials, made a strong impression on me.

In 2003, after I graduated, I enrolled for a Master degree at Silpakorn University, Bangkok.

In 2005, I participated in a workshop and group exhibition with a German artist, Alfred Banze, within the project “Ghost in the tree” organized by the Goethe Institute in Bangkok. I showed an interactive work that allowed participants to draw on their own beliefs and experiences to create their own piece of art.

Then, as I studied Buddhist philosophy, I became particularly interested in the notion of transience. At that time, I started to use natural materials such as wax, wood ash or bark, that reflect the passage of time and whose fragility results from environment, temperature and human activities. These materials affect perception – e.g., smell – as well as experience.

My general belief is that everything gradually changes and develops from emptiness. The true value arises by observing details and processes of nature in all aspects and elements of the experienced world, as a way to gaining better understanding and wisdom in order to live a balanced life in accordance with the way of Nature.

In 2007, after I gradueted in the Master degree at Silpakorn University, Bangkok. Then I presented my first solo art exhibition “The Balanced Transition".

Then I won the fellowship of the UNESCO Aschberg Bursaries for Artists Programme. I lived in The Civitella Ranieri Castle at Umbertide, Italy. It was my first international residency experience. It was great to exchange attitude with writers and artists from around the world. And there was good opportunity for me to be selected by the Civitella Ranieri Center to have solo exhibition at Rocca di Umbertide Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea, Umbertide, Italy. For me, having this exhibition and participating this residency is a good opportunity to exchange attitude about way of life, believe and culture with people from all over the world.

Recently I'm creating individual work of art and activities for art and education and lecturing in the department of Fine Arts at faculty of Architecture King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
